Katie Reecy is a licensed CPA in Nevada with over 20 years of experience in financial accounting, tax planning and fiduciary services. Her experience includes providing services for both public accounting and private industries. After years supporting local law offices and private companies, she launched Sierra Sage Accounting to offer responsive, high-integrity financial services tailored to small businesses, trustees, and professionals across Nevada. Known for her rare combination of technical expertise and personal attention, Katie works directly with every client. Her focus and goal are always the same: to provide long-term financial confidence and clarity to her valued clients. With her experience serving as a professional trust officer for a local law firm, Katie specializes in fiduciary accounting and compliance for trusts and estates- a service niche that most CPA firms do not offer. This professional experience makes her a valued partner to law firms, trust companies and individual trustees alike.
Katie is a second-generation Northern Nevadan. She grew up in the Reno/Carson area graduating from Carson High School. She attended the University of Northern Colorado graduating with a double major in Finance and Accounting. She is a mother to three beautiful children- Max, Charly and Brookie. When she is not servicing her clients or driving her kids to practice, she loves being outside enjoying the beautiful Sierras. She enjoys golfing, hiking and backpacking with her husband, Jason and their two dogs, Scout & Sydney.
